KINKY.NZ
PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how KINKY.NZ handles personal information when people browse our New Zealand adult directory, contact us, create or manage an advertiser account, submit a profile or use site features. We aim to handle information consistently with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use KINKY.NZ, we may collect account and contact details such as a name or display name, email address, telephone number and login credentials; profile and advertising material such as descriptions, location, rates, services, photos and videos; verification material you choose or are asked to provide; messages sent to the administrator; transaction and placement records; and technical information such as IP address, device, browser, approximate region, referral page, timestamps, cookie identifiers and security logs.
Adult-directory profiles can contain sensitive or highly personal information. Advertisers decide what public profile details to submit and should publish only information they are comfortable making publicly accessible.
2. Why we use information
We use information to operate and display the directory; create and secure accounts; review, moderate and verify advertisements; provide paid placements; respond to requests and complaints; remember preferences and recently viewed profiles; measure and improve site performance; prevent spam, fraud, exploitation and misuse; enforce our Terms; maintain records; and comply with lawful obligations or requests.
3. Public profile information
Information placed in a published advertisement is public by design and may be viewed, copied, indexed by search engines or shared by third parties. Removing a profile from KINKY.NZ does not necessarily remove copies already cached or independently stored elsewhere. Avoid including home addresses, identity documents, private contact details or other information that is not intended for publication.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
KINKY.NZ may use cookies and local storage to maintain sessions, preserve preferences, support favourites and recently viewed profiles, protect forms, understand traffic and keep the service reliable. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, but doing so may prevent some features from working correctly.
5. When information may be shared
We do not sell private account information. We may disclose limited information to hosting, security, analytics, communications or payment providers that support the portal; to professional advisers; where needed to investigate abuse or protect a person, our rights or site security; in connection with a legitimate business transfer; or where disclosure is authorised or required by New Zealand law, a court or a competent authority.
Some service providers may process information outside New Zealand. Where relevant, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate privacy and security safeguards, while recognising that overseas laws may differ.
6. Verification material
Where KINKY.NZ requests material to check age, control of a profile or authenticity of photographs, it is used for that review, fraud prevention and related records. A public verification label does not disclose the underlying document. Verification is limited in scope and does not amount to a comprehensive background check or endorsement.
7. Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to reduce unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No internet system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, backups, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal or accounting requirements, then deleted or de-identified where practicable.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access or correction, subject to lawful exceptions. Advertisers can also request profile updates or removal. To help prevent unauthorised changes, we may need to verify that you control the relevant account, email, phone number or profile.
You can manage cookies through your browser and choose what information to place in a public advertisement. If you receive optional marketing communications from us, you may opt out using the method provided in the message.
9. Other websites and direct communications
Profiles may link to independent websites, social networks, messaging platforms and payment providers. Their privacy practices are outside KINKY.NZ’s control. Communications between visitors and advertisers occur independently; do not share identity documents, financial credentials or unnecessary personal information with someone you do not trust.
10. Children
KINKY.NZ is strictly for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly accept accounts, advertisements or verification material from minors. Report suspected underage content immediately so it can be investigated and removed.
11. Updates and contact
We may revise this Policy when our practices, technology or legal obligations change. The current version and date will remain available on this page. To make a privacy request, report a concern or ask a question, use the KINKY.NZ contact page and identify the account or profile concerned. You may also raise an unresolved privacy concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.
